Hey man appreciate your content but what was your process for cleaning and prepping the mating surfaces of the block and the head? how did you keep clutter from going into the various holes in the block? The video is titled head gasket repair, yet it doesn’t show us any of the actual head gasket repair work, only the disassembly to get to the problem, and later in part 2 the reassembly.

what fairing did you use I bought an aftermarket one off of eBay but the fitment is weird. I have gaps and it bows at the top to where my windshield doesn't sit right. I have lived with it for a year but I plan on painting my bike this summer and want to make it right.

This gives me hope. I have a 2003 Heritage that I have not started in four years. Based on this video, I think drain the tank and put fresh gas (fuel injected) in, drop a new battery in and fire her up... If that works, go for a five minute ride and change the rest of the fluids.... Next will be new tires!
